About bruised but not beaten
Who are we?
Our story starts with our healthy two year old son being diagnosed with blood cancer. Our world instantly crumbled! One and a half years later, I almost died in a freak motorcycle accident and had to learn to walk again. In the next six months I was bit in the face by a large dog at Thanksgiving, we were rear ended putting me back in the ER at Christmas, and I was wrongly fired from my career as a PE teacher that May. We were under attack!
Our why...
I wish that my family didn't have to go through all these trials, but we learned so much in the trenches and we're a stronger family than ever! It has also allowed us to help so many other people. This blog is to share the mental, physical, financial, relationship, and faith based strategies that allowed our family and marriage to survive these attacks. We're excited to help you prepare and beat the battles and struggles in your life!
